Follow 5 easy steps and get back to work

Step 1: Power Cycle Devices.  (Turn off Printer and plug out printer power cord and re-plug after 5 sec.)

Step 2: Use printer utility to check if it start communicating with computer.

Step 3: Check Windows Firewall if its blocking printer  file.

Press “Windows + X,” and then select “Control Panel. Select “View Devices and Printers” to open the “Devices and Printers” list. Right-click on your printer to see a list of options. To view the print queue, select “See what’s printing.” To check general printer status, select “Properties,” and to figure out if something is wrong with the printer select “Troubleshoot.”

For Apple Mac system Click the “Apple” menu and select “Software Update” to install any available updates. Click the “Apple” menu and select “Restart” from the drop-down menu. Click “System Preferences” in the Dock and select “Print & Scan.” Double-click your printer from the Printer list if a yellow light appears next to the printer’s name. Click “Resume.”Open a document that you need to print and attempt to print the document by pressing “Ctrl-P.” Select your printer by clicking the “Change” button and choose your printer from the list. Click “Print.

Step 4: Run the Troubleshooter through printer utility.

Step 5: Check if your printer offline issue resolved? if not Reinstall printer drivers.

For windows operating system Start  > Settings  > Devices Printers and scanners, then select the printer and select Remove Device. To reinstall it, select Start  > Settings  > Devices Printers & scanners. Then select Add a printer or scanner and allow Windows to find nearby printers. Choose the one you want and select Add device.
